JAGUAR F-TYPE SPORTSCAR LAUNCHED IN INDIA AT INR 1.37 CRORE
Jaguar India has launched the F-type sportscar in India, at a price of Rs. 1.37 crore. The F-type was first showcased at the 2012 Paris motor show. The Jaguar F-Type is a two-seat sports car, based on a shortened platform of the XK convertible. A similarly sized concept car, the C-X16, was shown at the Frankfurt Motor show in September 2011. In India, the F-type is available in two variants while internationally the car is available with 3 variants. The Indian variants are the F-type S and F-type V8 S.

Jaguar F-type launched
The F-type S comes with a supercharged, 3 liter-V6 petrol engine which produces 380 PS of peak power and 460 Nm of peak torque. With the 3.0 liter V6 engine, the car reaches 0-100 Kph mark in 4.9 seconds and has top speed of 275 km/h. The second variant of the F-Type is the one with the much more powerful 5.0 liter-V8 petrol engine, which produces 490 PS of peak power and 625 Nm of peak torque. The V8 engine propels the F-Type to 300 Kph with the 0-100 mark coming up in just 4.3 seconds. Both the engines get 8 speed automatic transmissions.
